Malaysia's meteorological authority has warned of dangerous thunderstorms, downpours and strong winds affecting multiple districts across the peninsula and East Malaysia, with precautions advised through the early morning hours.

Datuk Kamil Misuari, husband of Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, passed away following hospitalisation. His funeral was held at the National Mosque in Kuala Lumpur before his remains were flown to Sarawak for burial.
