Boat Disaster in Nigeria Claims Over 40 Lives, Mostly Children
More than 40 people, predominantly children, perished when a heavily laden boat overturned in Sokoto state, Nigeria. The vessel was transporting farmers and agricultural workers to rice fields when it capsized near Gorau town.
