Indonesia Ramps Up Palm Oil Biodiesel Push With B50 Mandate to Slash Fuel Imports
Indonesia has launched its B50 biodiesel programme, increasing palm oil-based fuel content from 40% to 50%. The initiative aims to reduce fuel imports by 170 trillion rupiah this year while absorbing an additional 800,000 to 1.8 million metric tons of crude palm oil annually.
