Philippine regulator orders Meralco to refund consumers ₱9.5 billion
The Philippine Energy Regulatory Commission has mandated Manila Electric Company to distribute ₱9.5 billion in refunds to consumers over six months, correcting rates charged during the regulatory lapsed period from January to December 2025.
