Beijing Soy Sauce Scam: Over 100 Elderly Victims Defrauded of US$1.5 Million by Fake Health Clinics
Beijing authorities have arrested more than 30 people in connection with an elaborate health centre scam targeting seniors. The fraudsters used soy sauce in intestinal cleansing liquids to convince vulnerable elderly people they harboured dangerous toxins, costing victims over US$1.5 million.
