Typhoon Bavi Bears Down on Taiwan as Storm Intensifies
Taiwan's meteorological agency has issued a sea warning as Typhoon Bavi, the ninth typhoon this year, strengthens and tracks toward the island. A land warning is expected Friday as the storm threatens to affect Taiwan as a strong to moderate typhoon.
