Woman and accomplice detained as police probe elaborate staged kidnapping scheme
Kuala Lumpur police have remanded two people for 14 days following allegations of a staged kidnapping orchestrated to extort RM18,000 in ransom. A woman and her accomplice are accused of executing the elaborate hoax.
