Tabung Haji's Accounting Policy Shifted Twice in Single Day to Mask 2017 Losses
Malaysia's Tabung Haji altered its impairment policy from 70% to 85% to 90% within a single day in 2017, allowing the institution to report a RM3.4 billion profit instead of a RM1.4 billion loss, according to a Royal Commission of Inquiry report released last month.
