The Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) conducted two separate raids on Sunday, June 14, resulting in the detention of two local women suspected of involvement in immoral activities across the Brunei-Muara District.

Authorities apprehended a 39-year-old woman during the first operation at a rented room in Kampong Salambigar. She faces investigation on suspicion of engaging in immoral activities. Hours later, a second raid in Kampong Lumapas led to the arrest of a 29-year-old local woman, who is suspected of both participating in and facilitating similar offences.

Both suspects and items discovered during the operations were brought to the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit office for further questioning and investigation.

The police force reiterated its dedication to tackling vice-related crimes and moral offences throughout the nation. Such enforcement efforts aim to maintain public safety and strengthen community standards, said the RBPF in a statement.
