The Puncak Gloxinia Condominium in Kinarut, Papar, will soon receive 10 suction tanks each holding 10,000 gallons to serve its 1,296 residents spread across six high-rise blocks. As the Papar Member of Parliament, Armizan outlined how the new storage infrastructure represents a direct response to resident complaints and systemic vulnerabilities in the district's water distribution network. The construction announcement emerged alongside disclosure of two major treatment plant upgrade projects scheduled to commence operations within the coming months, signalling a multi-pronged government push to resolve recurring shortages.

The underlying problem facing Puncak Gloxinia residents stems partly from the condominium's geographical position within the water supply chain. Located at the terminus of the main distribution channel from the Kogopon Water Treatment Plant, the complex receives water last in the supply sequence, meaning it is invariably the first area to experience deficits when disruptions occur. This positioning disadvantage compounds the physical challenges of serving a dense, vertically-stacked residential community.
